School of Textiles and Fashion and North Carolina State University held an online information session about 3+X Program

In order to further promote the internationalization strategy of our university, encourage students to study abroad, and enhance the international vision and international competitiveness of our students, the School of Textiles and Fashion and North Carolina State University signed a 3+X program agreement.

On the morning of March 11, 2023, the School of Textiles and Fashion specially invited the relevant person in charge of the Wilson School of Textile at North Carolina State University to hold an online lecture on the 3+X project. Dr. Lisa P Chapman, Director of TATM Graduate Program at Wilson School of Textiles, Dr. Emiel DenHartog, Director of TECS Graduate Program, Professor Qu Hongjian, Deputy Dean of School of Textiles and Fashion, Dr. Lu Chunhong of Donghua University (invited advisor of the project), Dr. Yang Shu, International Exchange Secretary of School of Textiles and Fashion, and undergraduates of related majors attended the presentation. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Yang.



Dr. Lisa and Dr. Emiel detailed the overview of North Carolina State University, the main research directions of the Wilson School of Textiles, and the specific requirements and application process of the 3+X program. Afterwards, they answered students’ questions about tuition, language requirements and quota requirements, and had a warm exchange with the students.

In recent years, our school has continuously strengthened cooperation with foreign universities, actively introduced international high-quality educational resources to help students cultivate international and build international connotation and built a rich and diverse overseas study and exchange platform for students.

In the future, the School of Textiles and Fashion will strengthen guidance and support in the student application process to achieve a good new start of cooperation with North Carolina State University in the United States.
