On August 16, the ninth Industrial Design Competition of Anhui Province "Hanfeng Shilibei" industrial design competition, which lasted more than three months, came to an end. Zhu Danyang, a student majoring in Fashion Design and Engineering, won the award of Excellence, Li Pei and Dong Haiyu, the instructors, won the award of Outstanding Instructors, and the Institute of Textile and Garment College won the award of Outstanding Organization.
"Hanfeng Shilibei" industrial design competition is based on the traditional shape and system of Chinese Hanfu in the past dynasties, with traditional Chinese patterns as the main body for design innovation and in line with modern aesthetic purposes, adhering to the principle of practicality, taking into account the market value to promote the design of parent-child Hanfu and Hanfu accessories. Inspired by the Dunhuang murals, Zhu Danyang took the flying apsaras of Dunhuang as the design theme, and integrated the traditional Dunhuang elements with the culture of Hanfu, showing the charm of traditional culture. In the end, Zhu Danyang's work "Graceful" stood out from the 344 works in the competition and won the excellence Award.
In the future teaching, the Department of Fashion Design and Engineering will continue to strengthen the construction of discipline quality and professional connotation, introduce new knowledge, new technology and new methods, encourage more students to participate in related competitions, and improve students' innovative design ability.
